Finally a Widget and an Android App

I love my android phone as much as Apple users are under the spell of their hardware.

The best feature is that there is no regulation in the Android Market so anyone (and by anyone I mean me) can make a widget or an app that suits just a few people.  I can understand why Apple want to retain control over everything that happens on their hardware and this is not the right place to get in to that particular discussion.  However, this concept does not work for me.

I am still looking at how best to make an app that is stand alone but for now I am trialing this widget which was dead easy to put together.

If you are a bit more adventurous and have an Android Phone you can grab a working Android App here and give it a crack.  As of yet I am still testing and have not paid the $25 US to become a registered developer.
