Passionfruit - How to preserve the bounty

I do not know anyone who does not like passionfruit.  Butit is expensiv and ephemeral. One minute its in the shops and the next they are going.

My research shows there are a few different ways to preserve the pulp

Method 1 - Freezing

Several references show that passion fruit can be frozen whole.

Method 2 - Preserved in sugar.

The most common way seems to be to mix equal quantities of pulp and sugar and store in the fridge, shaking the jar several times a  day for the first few days.  Or bring the mix to the boil for 5 minutes, pack in sterile jars as per normal.  Shelf stable.

Method 3 - Preserved in vodka

This method is to cover the pulp in vodka and keep in the fridge
